The Crowd (Summer 2024) 

The Revised Common Lectionary (RCL) brings us through the book of Mark up through November 2024 (with a short detour for a few weeks in John). There is a lot going on in Mark, narrative action, Jesus is moving, teaching, healing, loving and usually there's a crowd.  The ministry of Jesus is to the crowds. From the small crowd, the 12, up to the 5,000 that were fed miraculously.  Let's examine the crowds that Jesus taught, healed, fed and loved.  Because we are the crowd as readers of the gospel this message is for us too.
