Psalm 133 and Gloria Patri

Leader: Behold, how good and pleasant it is when we live together in unity!

People: It is like the precious oil upon the head, running down upon the beard, upon the beard of Aaron,
running down on the collar of his robes!

Leader: it is like the dew of Hermon which falls on the mountains of Zion!

People: for there the Lord has commanded the blessing, life for evermore.

Hymn # 571 Go Make of All Disciples - Joseph Farrar

1. "Go make of all disciples:" We hear the call, O Lord, That comes from Thee, our Father, In thy eternal Word.
Inspire our ways of learning Through earnest, fervent prayer, And let our daily living Reveal thee ev'rywhere.

3. "Go make of all disciples." We at thy feet would stay Until each life's vocation Accents thy holy way.
We cultivate the nature God plants in ev'ry heart, Revealing in our witness The Master Teacher's art.

4. "Go make of all disciples." We welcome thy command; "Lo, I am with you always." We take thh guiding hand.
The task looms large before us We follow without fear. In heav'n and earth thy power Shall bring God's kingdom here.

Prayers of the People

Offer praise and thanksgiving to God. Share your worries and concerns with God. Pray for other people.

Pray for people who are sick, lonely, and afraid. Pray for those residing in Assisted Living Facilities - not able to have family and friends visit due to the coronavirus. Pray for the caregivers and staff of all such facilities, as they work to provide care and provide loving support of our family members. Offer up your own prayers.

Pray for medical facility staff, medical professionals, medical researchers, first responders, and community leaders who are working so hard to keep us well. Pray for those whose income depends upon the Hospitality, Hotel, Travel and Entertainment industries... as they face job losses, income loss, financial burden and worry. Offer up your own prayers.

Pray for the safety of the people of Surigao del Norte in the Philippines from the Covid-19 virus.  The country has now become the new epicenter of Southeast Asia. It's a very poor region with a lot of struggling farmers. Offer up your own prayers.

Pray for staff members of CROS Ministries of PBC which has had several staff members with such life-threatening crisis in their lives in the last few months. Prayer for their families, caregivers, doctors and nurses. Offer up your own prayers.

Ask God to help you find creative ways to reach out to people and share God’s love via phone, card, email, or social media, etc.

Message: The Source of Contamination

Pastor Emily Denmark-McGee

The source of contamination comes from within. With imaginative curiosity, give others the chance to show great faith like this Canaanite woman.

Offering

Giving is a part of our worship to God. Together we extend God’s hope and healing to our community and beyond. Oceanview Give

Prayer: God of love and mercy, we give you thanks that the compassion of Christ was challenged to move beyond the people of one community. May it be a reminder to us, his disciples, to follow this example in our living and our giving. Help us to see beyond our walls, beyond our communities, and across the divides of nation, race and creed, and to be generous as we share our blessings that have their source in you, God of us all. We pray in the name of our rock and redeemer; in Christ, we pray, Amen. (Matthew 15: 21-28)

This Is a Move - Oceanview Worship

Mountains are still being moved, Strongholds are still being loosed

God we believe yes we can see it, That wonders are still what You do

Bodies are still being raised, Giants are still being slain

God we believe yes we can see it, That wonders are still what You do

Chorus

We are here for You, Come and do what You do

We are here for You, Come and do what You do

Set our hearts on You, Come and do what you do

'Cause we need a move, We need a move

Bridge

Miracles happen when you move, Healing is coming in this room

Miracles happen when you move, Heaven is coming

Blessing

May I become at all times, both now and forever

A protector for those without protection

A guide for those who have lost their way

A ship for those with oceans to cross

A bridge for those with rivers to cross

A sanctuary for those in danger

A lamp for those without light

A place of refuge for those who lack shelter

And a servant to all in need.
